Man arrested as police discover 100 cannabis plants at hidden Bolton drugs farm

A man has been arrested after police discovered a cannabis farm hidden in a house in Bolton.

Officers uncovered around 100 plants being grown at a property in the Morris Green area of the town today (Tuesday, November 9).

Pictures from the scene show a white-walled room filled with pipes and heat lamps.

Officers found plants being grown in four different rooms inside the house.

A spokesperson for GMP's Bolton South team said: "Bolton South's Neighbourhood Team executed a drugs warrant at an address in Morris Green.

"Approximately 100 cannabis plants were identified at the property.

"Searches of the premises uncovered four rooms being used for the production of cannabis.

"One male was arrested."

An officer also posted a picture on Twitter showing one of the rooms in the house filled with cannabis plants.
