Man arrested as part of ongoing police investigation in Falkirk

A man has been arrested as part of an ongoing police investigation in Falkirk.

Cops had been hunting the 29-year-old before tracking him down on Thornhill Road last night.

A riot van, two police cars and an ambulance were spotted at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "As part of an ongoing investigation, officers arrested a 29-year-old man in Thornhill Road, Falkirk.

"The incident occurred around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 2 March, 2021. The man was released on an undertaking."

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service also said: "We received a call to attend an incident on Thornill Road in Falkirk.

"We dispatched an ambulance and transported one male patient in his 20s to Forth Valley Royal Hospital."
