Man arrested as cops descend on Paisley street over 'concern for a person'

A man has been arrested after emergency services scrambled to a property in Paisley.

Officers from Police Scotland received reports of a ' concern for a person' in the town's Espedair Street just after 10.30am on Saturday, December 19.

Paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service were also spotted at the scene after the alarm was raised.

As a result, cops cuffed a 38-year-old man later that day in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Daily Record: “We received a report of concern for a person at a property on Espedair Street in Paisley around 10.35am on Saturday, December 19.

"Officers attended and a 38-year-old man was later arrested.”
