A man has been arrested following a city centre raid where a large amount of cash and drugs was found.
Around €175,000 in cash, and cocaine and cannabis with a street value of €100,000 was found during the search on a residence in Dublin 1.
The search took place as part of an intelligence led operation targeting the supply of controlled drugs in Dublin.
The 35-year-old who was arrested is being held at Mountjoy garda station.
A garda spokesman said: "As part of an intelligence led operation targeting the supply of controlled drugs in the Dublin Metropolitan Region, Gardaí attached to the Special Crime Taskforce and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out a search of a residence in the Dublin 1 area today, Sunday October 6 2019.
"Approximately €175,000 in cash, cocaine and cannabis (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €100,000 was seized during the search.
"A 35 year old male has been arrested in connection with this investigation and is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station pursuant to Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996."
