Gardai seized €10,000 of cocaine in a drugs bust across Co Limerick on Wednesday.

A small amount of ammunition was also discovered during the raid.

Local officers in Cappamore were assisted by members of the Defence Forces.

During the course of the raids officers found the ammunition and what is believed to be cocaine with a street value of €10,000.

The suspected drugs will now be sent for analysis. A garda spokeswoman confirmed investigations are still ongoing.
