Man arrested and two hospitalised following disturbance in Partick

A man has been arrested after a disturbance in the Partick area of Glasgow last night.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Dumbarton Road and Crow Road at about 7.45pm after receiving reports of an ongoing incident.

Fire crews, ambulances and police were all in attendance at the disturbance and two men were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated.

A police spokeswoman said: "Around 7.45pm on Sunday 1 September, police were called to a report of a disturbance on Dumbarton Road at Crow Road. 

"Two men were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment then later released.  A 33 year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident."
