Two men were taken to hospital after a disturbance in Govan.
Police were called to Shaw Street around 11.45pm on Thursday night following the incident.
The pair were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.
A 40-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a disturbance on Shaw Street, Glasgow, around 11.45pm on Thursday, August 6.
“Two men were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.
"A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this, he is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, August 10."
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.”
