A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Glasgow.
The male is due to appear at the city's sheriff court after a 31-year-old man was attacked on , near to Glencloy Street at around on Thursday, August 8.
As a result of the incident the man was taken to the where his condition was described by medical staff as stable.
The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today regarding the incident.
A Police Scotland statement read: "The 30-year-old is due to appear at today (Wednesday 2 October 2019)."
