Police have confirmed a man has been arrested in connection with the death of Airdrie man Gary More.
Gary More, 32, was shot outside his home on Gartness Drive on September 6, last year.
A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with his death and his due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday.
Two other men appeared in court in February in connection with the inquiry.
A Police Scotland statement released today read: "Police Scotland can confirm a further man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Airdrie.
"On Thursday, 6 September, 2018 at around 8:10pm, 32-year-old Gary More was shot outside his home in Gartness Drive, Airdrie.
"A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
"He will appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday, 21 October, 2019."
Detective Superintendent Allan Burton of the Major Investigation Teams added: "This has been a long and complex investigation however Police Scotland is determined to bring justice for Gary's family.
"This arrest has been achieved through the dedication of the officers and staff working on the enquiry, however the work is not yet done, and we will continue our efforts to ensure all those involved in Gary’s death are brought before the courts to answer for their crimes."
