A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault in Edinburgh.
It comes after another man was taken to hospital after being found injured on Bingham Medway on Wednesday July 21.
The 31-year-old suffered serious injuries, allegedly inflicted by a blade.
A second man, 57, was also hurt but received treatment at the scene from the Scottish Ambulance Service.
On Wednesday afternoon, police confirmed that a 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the assault.
The man was due to appear in Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 27 July, 2021.
Police say their enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
Officers are "following a positive line of enquiry".
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault incident which happened on Bingham Medway in Edinburgh at around 3.55pm on Wednesday, 21 July, 2021.
"The man was due to appear in Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 27 July, 2021.
"Enquiries into the incident remain on going and officers are following a positive line of enquiry."
