A man has been arrested and charged after two men were assaulted in Rutherglen.
A 51-year-old and 27-year-old were attacked on Sunday during an incident on East Kilbride Road.
A 30-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
Police Scotland released a statement this morning which read: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident in East Kilbride Road, Rutherglen, on Sunday 8 December 2019 in which two men, aged 51 and 27 years, were assaulted.
"He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today, Tuesday 10 December 2019.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
