Man arrested after women followed and schoolgirl approached in Scots town

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident in Kirkintilloch on Wednesday in which two women were followed.

The incident occurred in the Industry Street area around 4.30pm on May 12.

The 38-year-old man has also been arrested and charged with approaching a 13-year-old girl in the Merkland Drive area of the town around 5pm on the same day.

The man appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court yesterday, may 13, and has been remanded in custody.
