A man has been arrested after a woman was left hospitalised during a ‘disturbance’ in Glasgow city centre.
Emergency services rushed to the incident on West Nile Street at around 2.50pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Photos on social media show a number of police and ambulance personnel outside H&M on the street.
The woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary following the incident.
Her injuries are unclear but understood to be non-life threatening.
Officers have arrested a man in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police were called around 2.50pm to a report of a disturbance at a property on West Nile Street, Glasgow.
“A woman has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
