A man has been arrested in Madrid after allegedly taking more than 500 upskirt videos of women using a phone hidden in a backpack.
The 53-year-old, from Colombia, is accused of uploading the footage to porn websites, racking up over 1.5 million views from over 280 videos.
Many of the victims were targeted on the Metro, including some underage girls.
The man preyed on women daily, also operating at supermarkets, police said.
In a tweet, the Naitonal Police said: “So we stopped in the subway #Madrid to one of the biggest predators of women's privacy.
“He recorded videos below skirts and dresses and published them on pornographic portals. He acted daily and compulsively.”
At his home, police said they found hard drives containing hundreds of videos, as well as his own website.
The man has been remanded in custody and could face jail, as upskirting is considered sexual abuse in Spain.
