Police have arrested a man after a laser was shone at a PSNI helicopter during the search for a missing person.
It is understood that during the search the helicopter was subject to repeated laser attacks from the North Belfast area.
The crew on board the helicopter were able to direct officers on the ground to the address and one man has been arrested.
Posting on Twitter, PSNI Air Support said: "Whilst assisting colleagues in (West Belfast) search for a missing person we were subject to repeated laser attacks from the North Belfast area.
"A local crew was directed to the address and a male has been arrested.
"He will be interviewed and most likely have a court date soon."
