A man has been arrested following a serious assault in Scotstoun.
Police and emergency services responded to report of the serious assault in Kingsway Court around 10:20am.
A 30-year-old man sustained a serious injury and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police have confirmed that another 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, with enquiries ongoing into the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 10.20am we were called to reports of a serious assault in Kingsway Court in Glasgow.
“A 30-year-old man sustained serious injury and was taken to Southern General Hospital for treatment.
“Officers have arrested another 30-year-old man in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing.”
