Man arrested after reports of a woman being spat on in Hamilton

Officers in Hamilton have arrested a 25-year-old man following information that a woman was spat on in Quarry Street, near to Regent Way.

The alleged incident took place around noon on Thursday, August 19.

Further enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 1177 of 19 August.
