Police were called to Linlithgow Road in the town at around 8:50pm on Sunday December, 19, following reports of a disturbance.

Officers say the 44-year-old made off from them in a vehicle, before being traced a short time later.

It is also alleged he was found to be drunk.

Posting on Twitter, Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit said: "Stirling Road Policing attended a disturbance in the Bo'ness area earlier.

"One male tried to make good his escape in a vehicle.

"He was traced and found to be drunk - a 44 year old male was arrested and reported to court for drink driving and other offences."
