Man arrested after public order incident sparks frantic garda chase outside Dublin nightclub

A man was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning after a public order incident sparked a frantic garda chase outside a Dublin nightclub.

Gardai rushed to the scene outside The Camden pub on Camden Street in the early hours of Sunday morning after reports of a fight.

A man his 20s was later arrested after being chased by gardai on foot after officers got control of the crowds.

The man was taken to Kevin Street Garda Station.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí responded to a public order incident on Camden Street during the early hours of Sunday, 31 October 2021.

"A male in his 20s was later arrested following a foot pursuit and was taken to Kevin Street Garda station."
