A man has been arrested after his pregnant girlfriend's dead body was found wrapped in plastic inside a freezer.
William James Martinez posted on Selena Ann Bradley's Facebook page claiming she was fine, it is claimed.
The 23-year-old victim, who has been described as "just so sweet" by her loved ones, was discovered dead at Martinez's home.
According to KTSX, Martinez, 39, used the victim's phone to make her family believe she was alright.
A message on her page said: “Listen im fine.
“Im ok im just want to be left tf alone. when im ready to come back I will. I have to get me and my happiness together. Im good where I’m at.”
The mum-of-two had "marks on her neck and the left side of her face consistent with being struck and assaulted," police in Texas said.
She was found wrapped in blue tarp on Monday.
A GoFundMe page set up following the killing said: "She was always just so sweet.
"She was pregnant they didn't deserve what happened to them.
"She leaves behind two children. This money will help the family with funeral and living expenses as well as put something in a trust fund for these children."
Court documents say Martinez has told friend Tony Chambliss that he had done something terrible and he would go to prison for life."
He also told his pal that "the body was in a freezer," it is claimed.
He also admitted he had killed Ms Bradley to Stephanie Rios, the mother of his four-year-old daugher, it is alleged.
