A man was arrested following an alleged assault in East Kilbride last night.
Police raced to Pine Crescent in the town after the alarm was raised at around 10.50pm on Saturday, June 26.
Officers quickly traced a 27-year-old in connection with the incident.
He was arrested and police say their enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating following an assault on Pine Crescent, East Kilbride around 10.50pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
"A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident and enquiries are ongoing."
