A MAN has been arrested after a police claimed that an officer was assaulted at an anti-immigration rally in Glasgow.
Hundreds of people gathered at the city's Buchanan Street Steps on Saturday where a "unity rally", organised by convicted domestic abuser and anti-immigration podcaster John Watt, was taking place.
The demonstration was met with a largescale counter-protest, with the two groups separated by lines of police officers and metal railings.
