A man has been arrested after a police helicopter chased a motorbike through the streets of Edinburgh.
Officers launched an emergency response late yesterday evening (16 June) at around 10pm in the north west of the capital .
Police Scotland deployed a helicopter in pursuit of a motorcycle rider who had failed to stop for officers. Road police and Police Scotland dogs also assisted in the search.
A 23-year-old man was apprehended and has been arrested.
Police Scotland Control Rooms tweeted last night: "Did you see @ polscotair over Edinburgh tonight?
