Man arrested after police discover large cannabis farm 'spread across rooms' at Salford property

A man has been arrested after police unearthed a large cannabis farm at a property in Salford.

Officers carried out a drugs warrant at an address on Littleton Road in Kersal this morning (December 7).

During a search of the property, police discovered a large cannabis farm spread across multiple rooms and the attic space.

Officers also seized a number of motorbikes from the property.

An adult male was subsequently arrested at the location and remains in custody awaiting a police interview.

In a statement, GMP Salford said: “This morning we carried out a drugs warrant at an address on Littleton Road and discovered a large cannabis farm spread across the rooms and the [attic] space.

“An adult male was arrested at the location and is currently awaiting interview.

“Apologies to our local drug dealers, you now have no motor bikes and drugs to deal in around the area on after (sic) we have taken several motorbikes from you and now have all your drugs.

“If you require your drugs back please attend the police station and inquire within the custody office once you have been arrested.”
