Man arrested after police bust alleged Glasgow cannabis drug farm

A man has been arrested after police busted an alleged Glasgow drug farm.

Officers raided the Bridgeton property yesterday at around 1pm in Reid Street.

They allegedly found a large quantity of cannabis within.

A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed: "Police were called around 1pm on Thursday, 30 April, 2020, following the report of a cannabis cultivation site at a property in Reid Street, Glasgow.

"Officers attended and a 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
