A man has been arrested for driving offences following the death of a pensioner in Edinburgh.
Douglas Forbes was found dead on Academy Park in the city by police on Thursday, December 2.
We previously told how the 78-year-old was discovered fatally injured at the road side around 8.50pm.
A 69-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with driving offences.
Police Scotland said: “Following the death of 78-year-old Douglas Forbes, at Academy Park in Edinburgh, on Thursday 2 December, we can confirm a 69-year old man has been arrested in relation to driving offences.
“He’s been released pending further enquiries and the investigation continues.”
