Police have arrested a man in connection with the alleged hit and run death of a Scots dad.
A major probe was launched after Jimmy Harris was found badly injured on the A85 at Kirkton, near Taynuilt, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 61-year-old was tragically pronounced dead at the scene a short time later as police searched for the vehicle they believed was involved.
Police Scotland have now confirmed that a 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the inciden.t

He has since been released pending further enquiries.
Dozens of tributes have been paid to 'lovely' talented golfer Jimmy who has since been formally identified by police.
Detective Inspector Scott Hamilton said: “Our thoughts are with Jimmy’s family and friends at this time, as they come to terms with their tragic loss.
“Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing and we continue to appeal for anyone with any information to please come forward.”
