A man has been arrested after over an alleged late night assault of a woman near a Scots shopping centre.
The 39-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with the attack on the 26-year-old woman on Saturday at around 1am near Aberdeen's Union Square shopping centre.
Police say that the man was arrested and charged on Tuesday.
He has been released on an undertaking to appear at a later date.
A police statement released today added: "Officers would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this inquiry."
