A man was arrested after gardai discovered €40,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb in Co Wicklow.
The arrest came following a search by gardai from the Divisional Drugs Unit at Bray Garda station in Bray around 3.20 pm as part of Operation Tara.
Officers found cannabis as well as other drug paraphernalia.
A garda spokesman said: "The drugs seized will now be sent for further analysis.
"A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested in connection with the search and he was taken to Bray Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996.
"Investigations are ongoing."
