Man arrested after football fans 'brawl' outside Irish pub in Glasgow

Football fans have been caught on camera allegedly fighting each other outside an Irish pub in Glasgow.

Police arrested a man after the incident, which happened outside Connollys Irish Bar in the city centre after Sunday's Rangers v Celtic match.

A man was also taken to hospital following the brawl outside the pub, reports The Daily Record.

Footage, which has been shared on social media, appeared to show men fighting on the street.

The clip then switches to police arriving as several officers can be seen in attendance.

Police have confirmed three men will also be reported in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a fight outside a premises on Bell Street in Glasgow at around 5.35pm on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

"One man was arrested at the scene. One man was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Three men will be reported in connection with the incident."
