Man arrested after failing drugs test following crash involving three cars in Bolton

A man has been arrested following a three car smash in Bolton.

Police were called to the incident on Beaumont Road, Lostock, yesterday afternoon to find a number of vehicles damaged.

Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured in the crash.

However, one man was arrested for failing a roadside drugs test, having no insurance and driving without a licence.

In a statement on Facebook, a spokesperson for GMP's Bolton North team, said: "[Police] attended a three vehicle RTC on Beaumont Road earlier.

"The driver of this vehicle failed a road side drugs test, as well as having no insurance and no licence.

The male was arrested and the vehicle seized."

Anyone with information about this incident can call GMP on 101.
