Man arrested after 'disturbance' on Scots street as police race to scene

A man has been arrested following a 'disturbance' at a property in West Lothian.

Police and emergency services raced to a property on Falside Crescent, Bathgate, after the incident, which took place at around 8pm on Monday July 5.

A heavy police presence was reported in the area and a 32-year-old man was arrested.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8pm, we received a report of a disturbance at a property on Falside Crescent in Bathgate.

"Emergency services attended and a 32-year-old man has been arrested.

"There is no wider risk to the public."
