Police arrested and charged a 31-year-old in connection with the death of Thomas Milne in Glasgow.
Officers received a report of an injured man within a common close in Saracen Street, Possilpark , at around 5pm on August 15.
Emergency services attended but Thomas Milne, 40, died at the scene.
One Saracen Street shopkeeper told the Record there was "a right commotion coming from the first floor of that block of flats."
A 31-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the death and he is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday 19 August 2019.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
