Man arrested after crash and 'disturbance' as cops race to Glasgow road

A man has been arrested after a crash and 'disturbance' as cops raced to a Glasgow road.

The incident happened during rush hour in the Milton area of the city at around 5pm on Thursday, June 24.

It's understood the 33-year-old was involved in an altercation following a smash on Colston Road, reports Glasgow Live.

He was arrested by officers shortly after as the alarm was raised.

Police say enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

There are no reported injuries of anyone else involved in the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a road crash and a subsequent disturbance at Colston Road in Glasgow around 5.40pm on Thursday, 24 June.

“A 33-year-old man has been arrested at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
