Man arrested after cops uncover heroin and cocaine worth over £180K at Scots address

A man has been arrested and charged after cops recovered a drugs haul worth over £180,000 in Glasgow.

Detectives carried out a search warrant at an address in Tollcross today, May 28, where the stash of heroine and cocaine was found.

It is believed to have an estimated street value of £184,000.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.

Detective Inspector Cheryl Kelly, of Stewart Street CID, said: “We remain committed to tackling the sale of illegal drugs in Glasgow, to tackling the devastation caused to families and our communities, and I would encourage the public to continue to provide us with information to continue this work.

“If you have any information or concerns about drug misuse in your area please report this to Police Scotland via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers via 0800 555 111.”
