A man will face a Sydney court on assault and intimidation charges after allegedly chasing down and attacking a woman out jogging in Sydney's west.
The woman was running on Railway Parade in Lidcombe last year when she was grabbed from behind and assaulted by a man, police say.
Footage of the December 29 attack shows a man grabbing the woman as she ran along the suburban street.
The woman was not seriously injured in the attack.
The CCTV footage, captured by a unit block's street-facing camera, was released by police last month as they made a public plea to identify the man.
Police arrested an Auburn man, 29, on Friday in connection with the attack, charging him with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and stalk or intimidate with intent to cause fear of physical harm.
Officers allege the man resisted arrest and spat at police.
He was also charged with assaulting an officer in execution of duty and breach of bail.
He was refused bail and is due to face Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
