A man has been arrested and charged after armed police swooped on a property in a Moray town.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to the incident at Findhorn Court in Elgin at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, April 22.
A large cordon was set up around the property while firearms officers surrounded the area.
Following the conclusion of the incident a 27-year-old man was arrested in connection.
He is expected to to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Friday, April 24.
Nobody was injured.
Inspector Andrew Wilson said: "This incident was contained to the single property and nobody was injured.
"The local community are thanked for their understanding while officers worked to bring this to a safe conclusion."
