- A man has been arrested for the alleged possession of an offensive weapon near Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s home on the Sandringham Estate.
- Norfolk Police confirmed the arrest took place in Wolferton shortly after 7.30pm on Wednesday, 6 May.
- The arrest followed reports that Mr Mountbatten-Windsor had been threatened while walking his dogs and that a man was behaving in an intimidating manner.
- The individual was apprehended on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon.
- He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning and remains in custody.
