A man was arrested after being found with a 'corrosive substance' as well as a weapon and a controlled drug in a car in Middleton.
Police were called to Church Street at about 6.20pm on Sunday, August 23 to a parked up white BMW 118.
A man, aged 45, was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon; possession of a bladed article; and possession of a controlled drug.
He has since been released under investigation.
A bottle containing a corrosive substance was safely removed from the vehicle.
