A man has been arrested after a sexual assault took place near a Kingswood pub.
The incident happened close to the Star in Hanham Road on Friday evening (December 20) between 9.40pm and 10.40pm.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary confirmed today (December 23) that a man has arrested in connection with the incident.
He said: "A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of attempting to rape a woman over the age of 16."
