This is the dramatic moment police Taser a man who had knuckle duster in a busy Cardiff street.
The armed standoff between officers and 24-year-old Ely man Stephen Cody happened at 3.30pm on Sunday.
Detectives surrounded Cody outside a takeaway in Broadway, Adamsdown, before deploying the high voltage weapon.
Cody then shouts in pain before as he falls to the floor - detectives then restrain him on the ground.

A South Wales Police spokesman confirmed a Taser was discharged during the incident and that a man was taken to Cardiff Bay police station on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
Cody, of Haig Place, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with possession of a knuckle duster in a public place.
The 24-year-old admitted the single charge against him and received a 12-week suspended sentence.
