A man threatened staff and claimed he had a knife in a terrifying petrol station robbery in Co Cork.
The incident happened at around 6pm on Monday on the Victoria Road in the city.
Gardai say a man entered a petrol station and threatened a staff member, demanding they hand over cash and saying he had a knife.
The man left the scene on foot after taking a sum of cash.

Officers from Anglesea Street rushed to the scene and circulated a description of the suspect to all gardai in the area.
A man in his 30s matching the description was stopped shortly after by officers on Douglas Street.
The money understood to have been stolen during the robbery was also recovered.
A garda spokesman said the man was brought to Bridewell Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
