A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a gym boss on his own doorstep.
Gary More, 32, was shot outside his home in Airdrie, Lanarkshire.
Emergency services raced to the scene in September 2018 but he could not be saved.
Barry Harvey, 33, has now appeared in private at Airdrie Sheriff Court charged with murder.
He also faces a charge of assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement following an alleged attack on a 63-year-old man on Carlton Place, Glasgow, in July 2018.
Harvey, of Edinburgh, made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is due to make another appearance in court within the next eight days.
