A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of grandmother Margaret Robertson.
Norman Duncan, 41, of Aberdeen , made no plea during a private hearing at the city’s sheriff court on Friday.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear again within eight days.
The body of Margaret Robertson, 54, known as Meg, was found in her high rise flat in Aberdeen’s Seaton area on September 27.
Heartbroken family said they will “never understand” their loss.
Her son and daughter, Mark and Michelle, said: “It is hard to comprehend our mum has been taken from us and we will never, ever understand why this had to happen to her.”
