A MAN has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a property in Glasgow.
Mohamed Raouf Mezahdi, 40, appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, July 2.
It follows an alleged sexual assault on a 36‑year‑old woman in the Royston area between 9pm and 10pm on Tuesday, June 30.
Mezahdi made no plea during the hearing. He is expected to appear again within the next eight days.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of the sexual assault of a 36-year-old woman at a property in the Royston area of Glasgow, between 9pm and 10pm on Tuesday, 30 June, 2026.
“A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 2 July.”
