A man and woman were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Heywood.
The smash happened on Bury New Road at around 9.45pm last night.
A car crashed into three other vehicles, before it is believed to have hit a bus stop.
A man and woman were taken to hospital from the scene, a spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said.
Police initially arrested a man on suspicion of dangerous driving, but he was later de-arrested.
A section of the road was taped off after the crash.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 9:45pm yesterday evening (26/05/2021), police were called to reports of a collision on Bury New Road, Heywood.
"Police attended and enquiries established a moving car had collided with 3 stationary cars and street furniture.
"Two people were taken to hospital.
"A man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and later de-arrested following further enquiries."
