Cops are probing a double death tragedy after the sudden deaths of a man and a woman at a property in Irvine.
Officers were called out to a property at South Vennel around 2.55pm on Friday after the bodies were discovered.
Both were 38-years-old.
Their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of the sudden deaths of a woman and a man, both aged 38, within a property at South Vennel in Irvine around 2.55pm on Friday, 28 May.
"Their deaths are being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
