A man and woman have been found dead at a hotel in Argyle Street.
At around 7:35am this morning, police and paramedics received a report of concern for a person and raced to the Alexander Thomson Hotel, where a woman had fallen ill.
The 44-year-old was later pronounced dead at the scene. Her death is being treated as unexplained.
The second death of a 25-year-old man at the hotel is being treated as "not suspicious" after officers received a report at around 7:30am.
The force confirm enquiries are ongoing into both deaths and reports will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
