The bodies of a man and woman have been found at a property in a southern suburb of Birmingham.
Officers were called to Oxford Road in Moseley shortly before 5.30pm on Saturday.
The man and woman were discovered inside, both with serious injuries, and confirmed dead at the scene, West Midlands Police said.
In a statement, police added: "Homicide detectives are currently trying to establish how they came about their injuries, but at this stage they do not suspect anyone else to be involved and the couple were known to each other.
"A cordon has been put in place at the property for forensic examinations and officers are speaking to neighbours."
