A man and a woman have died after their car plunged into the sea in .
Officers from Police Scotland and paramedics were called to the road near the village of at around 9am on Sunday, January 26.
The next of kin of the pair, a 37-year-old man and 19-year-old woman, have been informed after the bodies were found nearby.
As a result of the incident the road was closed for around eight hours while emergency services probed the deaths.
Cops are now urging anyone who may have information on what happened to come forward.
A police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that two people have died following a road crash on the B8024 in the Ormsary area of Argyll.
"Officers were made aware of a car which was found on the shoreline south of Ormsary around 9am on Sunday, 26 January.
"The bodies of a 37-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were found nearby. Both of their next of kin have been made aware."
Sergeant Paul MacPherson, of Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit, said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident which has resulted in the deaths of two people.
"I would urge anyone with information which could help our investigation or who may have seen the car at any time overnight to let us know as soon as they can.
